What is MYC?
Music for Young Children© is a proven, quality music method created and established by Frances Balodis over 40 years ago. It is designed to provide children between the ages of 2-10 the foundation of music education and piano playing in a group situation.
MYC provides a well-rounded musical education: children learn how to play the piano and read music, but they also have many opportunities to move their bodies, play games, sing songs and build social and cooperative skills. They are learning while having FUN!

For all levels, parents are an important part of each class. They act as music helpers for their child, helping them to turn pages, find materials, etc. They also learn new concepts alongside their child! It is a wonderful way for parents to bond with their children.
